"The best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person."
-- Andy Rooney
People want to make a difference – to others, to the environment, to the community they live in. Give to Samarinda and you give to all these and the experience can be wonderfully rewarding too.
"Your gift of time will delight the lives of those we provide care for, your gift of money will provide something extra, and your planned regular gift or bequest will ensure that Samarinda continues to be a model for outstanding care"
As a small, independent community organisation we are able to provide a unique and delightful environment for the recipients of our services and their families and friends. We rely on the generosity and support of the community to enable us to continue to provide our individualised services in this small home-like setting.
Bequests
Help us make the sun shine, not only today…but also tomorrow, by joining our exclusive Bequest Club.
Making a bequest to Samarinda will help to secure the future of Samarinda Aged Services. It will provide much needed funds for capital works, new services to meet community demand and other major projects.
Bequests are recognised and acknowledged in our newsletter, annual report and donor board and exclusive leather bound book. Members of the Samarinda Sunflowers receive invitations to special events and functions.
Donations

Donations may be made to generally or for specific projects or services. What ever you donate it will go toward improving the lives of our residents and clients.
Donors are recognised in our newsletter, annual report and donor boards unless anonymity is requested.
